Trial Specialist (2100319) – U.S. Southeast (Tampa/Ft. Meyers)

Where the Chemistry Happens…

We are seeking a professional like you to organize and independently coordinate, set up and execute trials as defined by the Product Specialist for a specific area and/or crops of expertise, assuring those aspects related to the management of the culture pursuing that the crop ends its cycle in the trials without incidents and that the correct work of selection, --evaluation is done with the necessary people involved. You will coordinate and assure a correct evaluation and communication of the results of the trial program for the area and/or crop of expertise.

Formula for Success: You Will…

  • Design, plan and coordinate the trial schedule for a specific area and/or crops of expertise in close cooperation with the Product Specialist.
  • Monitor, set up and execute the trials for a specific area and/or crops of expertise in close cooperation with Product Specialist.
  • Collect, analyze, interpret and document autonomously yield data’s from trials and inform the Product Specialist
  • To show and inform Product Specialist about the results of trials and new competitor varieties.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings with all the people involved in order to facilitate and enable the decision making about trials.
  • Coordinate and communicate the trial schedule to the PS/ Farm Manager and provide him with technical advice in order to meet agreed standards, time planning and budget.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in agriculture or equivalent experience.
  • PC literate. Microsoft Office Proficient
  • Virtual Meeting platforms like Microsoft Office Team Space
  • Ability to program, organize and communicate
  • Team worker
  • Analytical and a good observer
