Job description

 POSITION SUMMARY

The Supply Chain Business Analyst supports the development and implementation of business strategies and projects, based on reliable information and analysis. The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for supporting the development of the regional company strategy and strategic projects, including market and competitive research, qualitative and quantitative analysis of business and market related information as well as aspects related to the strategic planning process. This role will actively support business units in the development of their strategic roadmaps, support the strategic planning processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES  
Other duties may be assigned.

  • Actively supports the development of the regional and local strategic roadmaps in close collaboration with the Regional VP, Supply Chain strategic team and their respective cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinates and keeps on track the development and implementation of strategic projects in support of/alignment with the project lead & steering team
  • Supports strategic and key regional business improvement projects and initiatives
  • Supports GSC (Global Supply Chain Team) members in the AMPA Region related to business improvement: Tools, templates and improvement of business processes.

Key Activities and Processes:

  • Organizes & supports workshops for the purpose of strategic roadmap development
  • Leads the gathering and analysis of internal/external qualitative and quantitative data to support the business and/or the development of Supply Chain Roadmaps.
  • Organizes and prepare strategic reviews and project dashboards for AMPA Global Supply Chain Team Members.
  • Analyzes relevance and impact of key market trends on the industry and HM CLAUSE, in collaboration with internal stakeholders, analyze business fundamentals, business performance and relative competitive positions.
  • Evaluates and interpret market reports, technology assessments and recommendations to draw conclusions on viability and impact.
  • Organizes the regional management (Executive Committee) meetings, (agenda, minutes, follow-up on actions, etc.)
  • Supports the budget and forecasting process.
  • Builds a broad network of internal cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders to leverage organizational knowledge, resources and expertise.
  • Supports the development of internal and external presentations, meetings and discussions.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • MBA
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in strategic planning process and analysis
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong analytical business skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Technically Literate and Adept
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish language preferred
