Mark Wong is a Managing Director and founder of Emergent Genetics, LLC, a private equity investment firm that creates value within worldwide agricultural seed markets through the acquisition of companies with enhanced quality products.

Mr. Wong specializes in technology integration and commercialization and has 25 years of experience in agribusiness, 20 of them as a general manager. His experience includes operations management, technology assessment, business acquisition and divestiture, and international business.

Mr. Wong has held various management positions with FMC, including General Manager of the Niagara Seed Division. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Agrigenetics Corporation and subsequently was President and Chief Executive Officer of Agracetus Corporation, a subsidiary of W.R. Grace & Company.

He is Chairman of Seed Testing of America, Inc. and Chairman of Industrial Laboratories, Inc. Mr. Wong's outside directorships include: Director for Sierra Nursery Sales, Inc., and Tilligen, Inc. Mr. Wong holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University, and a  M.B.A. from The Wharton School of Finance.
