I have spent 34 years working in all aspects of the seed industry in both my native New Zealand and the last ten years in Australia, during this time I have witnessed and been involved in a lot of industry rationalisation.

After arriving in Australia, on a three year secondment, to manage Wright Stephenson Seeds we decided to make our home in Australia and I joined rural distributor IAMA Ltd and became involved in the development of the rapidly expanding broadacre seed business. During my time with IAMA we developed and launched the SGB concept of a seed, grain trading and biotech company which has now become PlantTech.

As CEO of SunPrime Seeds Pty Ltd, my objective is to get our varieties in as many Australian, and world, paddocks as possible by providing growers access to new robust varieties with consistently higher yields and improved quality and disease traits.
