Jack BODGER
CEO
Environmental Seed Producers
USA

I began learning about flowers seeds when I was in high school, working in the Bodger Seeds warehouse in El Monte, California and at the production headquarters in Lompoc, California.

In the early 70’s, I spent several summers in Lompoc, California working on the rouging crew at Bodger Seeds and later as the catalog photographer for Bodger Seeds Ltd. and Environmental Seed Producers. It was during this time that I developed a keen eye for flower quality and growing characteristics of garden flowers and wildflowers. I also was taught about the popular open-pollinated flower varieties of the day by Scotty Sinclaire, a skilled plant breeder at Bodger Seeds.

After receiving a graduate degree in Business Administration in 1984, I began my career at Environmental Seed Producers as General Manager, and became CEO in 1990. Today I am 2nd Vice President of John Bodger & Sons Company, parent company of Bodger Seeds Ltd. and Environmental Seed Producers and serve on the Board of Directors of both companies.

I served for 6 years on the Board of Directors of the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden and several other non-profit Boards. Currently I am Chairman of the Board of ForesTrade Inc. the largest organic tropical spice producing company in the world.
