Rooster.com chooses NerveWire as Internet professional services consultancy of record - Net Market to be built on state-of-the-art Ariba Trading Dynamics, v 2.0 platform
Miami, Florida
September 18, 2000

NerveWire, a business-to-business (B2B) Internet professional services firm, today announced that it has been selected by Rooster.com as its consultancy of record to build an online agricultural Net Market, which will intersect the country road with the information superhighway.

Rooster.com is an independent, online agricultural marketplace where producers will be able to
market their crops and buy their seed, fertilizer, crop protection products, equipment and other
supplies. In its first annual "Best of the Web: B2B'' guide, Forbes Magazine selected
Rooster.com as one of the most promising and competitive B2B Web sites in the United States.

NerveWire is leveraging its expertise in digital strategy, enterprise technology architecture, and
e-business solutions implementation to build the total Net Market architecture and solution for
Rooster.com. The Rooster.com Net Market will be based on the Ariba platform, and will be one
of the first implementations of Ariba Trading Dynamics, version 2.0.

"We are extremely impressed with NerveWire,'' said Tim Moulton, Rooster.com's Chief
Technology Officer, "and look forward to working with them to roll out the next phases of
Rooster.com. NerveWire's solution will enable a seamless, integrated customer experience across the Rooster.com site, Rooster Crop Marketing functionality, and the Rooster Storefronts. In my 20 years in the IT industry, I have never worked with an organization as competent and
professional as NerveWire.''

Phase I of the Rooster.com rollout currently features commodity quotes, news and local weather.
As NerveWire works with Rooster.com to implement future phases, producers will be able to
market crops and buy crop inputs online directly with their local retailer or cooperative. The initial
phases of the new functionality will be released later this year.

NerveWire's John Page, vice president of market operations, added, "We were impressed by
Rooster.com's business model which supports and enhances the entire agriculture value chain, and by the talented business and technical team they've assembled. We are thrilled to be building their Net Market and to have been selected as Rooster.com's consultancy of record.''

NerveWire has helped Rooster.com to assess their business model and to create a compelling
enterprise technology architectural vision and a roadmap for the delivery of key capabilities. After
this initial phase, NerveWire defined the detailed functional and technical blueprint for
Rooster.com's business. Currently, NerveWire is engaged in the design, build, test and
deployment of Rooster.com's complete business solution.

"With the incredible talents of NerveWire, coupled with the premier exchange software from
Ariba, Rooster.com is building the most advanced and efficient ecommerce site for the entire
agricultural community,'' said Moulton.

Rooster.com is an online "click and mortar'' marketplace for the agricultural community, where
producers can utilize the Internet to market their crops and buy their seed, fertilizer, crop
protection products, equipment and other supplies. Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week,
Rooster.com will provide a one-stop shop connecting producers, dealers and manufacturers with
new marketing opportunities. Rooster.com is an independent company headquartered in
Bloomington, Minn. For more information, please register online at www.rooster.com or call
