This variety is notably darker and more attractive than many ryegrasses available. Bred from the highly recognized Rutgers University, Amazing has excellent disease resistance and golf-course quality performance. In the most recent NTEP reports, Amazing scored statistically equal to the highest rating in over 18 categories including genetic color, winter color, athletic field quality, home lawn quality, leaf texture, traffic tolerance, leaf spot, dollar spot, and melting out.
