Bill Junk has been appointed President of the Seed Solutions division of Research Seeds, Inc.

Junk joined Research Seeds in 1992, serving as general manager of Royal Seeds, an RSI division. In 1999, Royal merged with Seed Research of Oregon, the turf division of Research Seeds, and Junk became the Director of Sales and Product Development.

"This is a new challenge as well as a great opportunity for me," said Junk. "Seed Solutions is a relatively new RSI division, and it is already poised for growth. I look forward to helping Seed Solutions reach and exceed its goals."

In addition to Junk’s successful career with Research Seeds, he previously held management positions in the seed industry with Scotts and Finelawn. Junk received his Master of Business Administration from Xavier University and Bachelor of Science in marketing from Indiana University.

Seed Solutions, the distribution division of Research Seeds, is comprised of five regional suppliers of high quality forage, turf grass, native grass and garden seed, erosion control products and other seed related products. The Seed Solutions locations include Arkansas Valley Seed Solutions with headquarters in Denver, Co.; Indiana Seed Solutions in Elwood, IN.; Michigan State Seed Solutions in Grand Ledge, MI; Minnesota Seed Solutions in Savage, MN; and Olds Seed Solutions in Madison, WI.
