Ronald Olinger has been appointed Vice-President of Forages and Seed Enhancements for Research Seeds, Inc. effective July 1. Olinger was previously the Chief Financial Officer of Research Seeds.

In his new position, Olinger assumes responsibility for the seed enhancement division of RSI, overseeing Urbana Laboratories and Seedbiotics. In addition, he serves as co-president for Forage Genetics International.

"Research Seeds is an innovative and evolving company that is continually looking for opportunities for growth," Olinger said. "I am very excited to play such a pivotal and diverse role within such a dynamic company.

Olinger came to Research Seeds in 1994 as corporate controller. Previously, he was a division controller, information systems administration manager, division and plant accounting manager and internal auditor for Land O’Lakes, Inc. Olinger received his Masters of Business Administration in finance from the University of St. Thomas.
