Premier trade show presents 'sound ppportunity' for corn and soybean growers

St. Louis, Missouri
December 5,  2001

Commodity Classic, Feb. 21-23, 2002, at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tenn., will include a 600-booth trade show that provides corn and soybean growers with access to the latest agriculture technology and products. Commodity Classic is the Seventh Annual Convention and Trade Show of the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) and American Soybean Association (ASA).

"Commodity Classic includes one of agriculture's largest trade shows with exceptional participation by leading agriculture businesses in the U.S.," said NCGA President Tim Hume, a corn farmer from Walsh, Colo. "Many of the top decision-makers at these businesses are available for conversations and discussions with growers to talk with."

ASA President Bart Ruth, a soybean farmer from Rising City, Neb. said, "At the trade show, growers can ask questions and compare features of many products and services. There will be a variety of equipment on display, along with demonstrations and giveaways."

In addition, Commodity Classic offers a wide variety of educational seminars and learning sessions that provide producers with the latest industry information on topics such as trade, biotechnology, marketing, renewable fuels and the future of agriculture.
