Jacklin Seed/Simplot Turf &
Horticulture announces that Larry Perotti has joined the company as
technical service manager. Perotti is responsible for answering
questions from Jacklin Seed customers (i.e. golf course
superintendents, builders and architects) on such subjects as grass
species and variety selection, and growth characteristics.
Additionally, he provides backup technical and sales services for
JacklinGolf's three outside sales representatives.
Prior to joining Jacklin Seed, Perotti
was a branch manager and sales representative for Sharp Brothers Seed
Company in Greeley, CO, where he was responsible for a variety of
sales and operational issues. He also served as nutrient systems
manager for L.L. Johnson Distributing. While with L.L. Johnson, he
promoted the use of fertigation on new golf course construction and
renovation projects through Colorado and Wyoming.
Perotti has a masters of science degree
in plant pathology from Colorado State University. His undergraduate
degree in landscape management is from Purdue University.
