As The J.C. Robinson Seed Co. and the Golden Harvest brand continue to grow in sales, market share and company size, the demands for communications has increased. To meet this changing need, two new positions were created—Corporate Communications Director and Marketing Communications Manager.

"Over time I’ve seen the volume of communication needs increase dramatically," Wendy Martin, corporate communications director said. "And those needs covered all types of communications from product promotions to public relations and brand advertising. We decided it made sense to divide the communications responsibilities into two areas both to make the workload realistic and to allow more concentration in each focus area."

Martin transitioned from her role as Communications Director to Corporate Communications Director and is now responsible for public relations, employee communications and brand development. "I’ve been with the Company for 11 years and have enjoyed the opportunity to evolve into different roles within communications," she said.

Gina Brewer joined the Company as Marketing Communications Manager. She comes to the Company with four years of marketing communications experience as National Program Coordinator for an engineering firm.

Brewer’s primary responsibility is to develop product advertising and promotions to increase the sales of Golden Harvest products. "I am excited about the many opportunities to grow with The J.C. Robinson Seed Company and further develop the advertising message," Brewer said. "This is a focused company that knows where it wants to go and encourages innovative ideas to get there."
