Holding true to the objective of meeting the needs of growers and
retailers, Daehnfeldt Inc.used the 2000 Pack Trials to introduce new POS
Materials for their Festival Gerbera Daisy.
Taking a unique direction with the program, Daehnfeldt will inventory POS materials for the
grower and retailer, allowing even the smallest of growers to provide their select retailers with POS materials without the risk of quantity
ordering.
The POS Materials offered include 5" printed
pots, plant
tags, poster size
bench cards and vertically hanging banners.
Absorbing the inventory costs associated with such projects, Daehnfeldt
allows the grower or retailer to order product in conservative quantities and still enjoy quality, creative product for quality plants
to attract the consumer.
The plan was initiated with a name change that
simplified the variety listing by allowing all of the Daehnfeldt Gerbera to be branded as the Festival Gerbera Daisy. Those in the
series previously known as Masquerade and Mardi Gras were included under the Festival name, thus simplifying the presentation of POS
Materials.
