Cargill, Inc. and Hoeschst Schering AgrEvo GmbH (AgrEvo) said today that they have set aside an agreement reached last fall for AgrEvo to acquire Cargill Hybrid Seeds North America.

The proposed sale had been postponed for several months, pending the resolution of a lawsuit
filed last October against Cargill by Pioneer Hi-Bred International.
