The red line of the presentation will be an on-farm trial that has been conducted by Barenbrug during the year of 1999. In this trial, a Wisconsin fanner (Dan Cramer) has renovated a part of his farm into high quality forages. During the grazing season, records have been kept of both the renovated and the existing pastures. In order to measure differences in milk production, the Jersey herd has been split into two subherds. One herd was grazed on the renovated pasture and the other herd was grazed on the existing pasture.

Very exiting data has been collected from this trial, data that is very important and useful to know for people that are using grass in their operation.

Barenbrug invites everyone that is interested in grass and grassland management. Reservations are highly recommended and appreciated.
Call Barenbrug at 1-800-547-4101 to register for the nearest presentation.
