July 23, 1999AgriBioTech Inc. today announced that the company
has issued 700,000 shares of common stock at $5 per share, totaling $3.5 million, to the
State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB).
The proceeds from the issuance will be used for working-capital purposes.
The State of Wisconsin Investment Board manages investments of more than $60 billion on
behalf of 450,000 government employees and retirees.

director of small company stocks at SWIB.
