As a result of the dramatic growth experienced by Daehnfeldt over the
most recent years, major organizational changes have occurred for both
the U.S. and Denmark offices.
Joe Messer, previously the President of
the U.S. operations has been promoted and now leads the flower seed
division world wide. Messer's responsibilities will include all levels
of breeding, production, marketing, and sales associated with the flower seed division of Daehnfeldt. He will continue to work out of
the U.S. office in North Manchester, Indiana.
Assuming the U.S. directorship is Niles
Riese, bringing --- years of expertise to the Daehnfeldt team. A graduate of Colorado State University's
Horticulture Program, Riese has worked in the flower seed industry for
over 25 years.
Further changes within Daehnfeldt blend the marketing
and sales efforts of the US and Denmark offices with the transfer of Don MacIntyre to the Denmark office. Joining Daehnfeldt as a Product
Manager 2 years ago, MacIntyre took charge of Marketing in the US office last year. Now responsible for marketing and sales for Europe,
Africa and Asia, MacIntyre's transfer lays the groundwork for improved
efficiencies between the Denmark and US offices.
