DLF-TRIFOLIUM USA and Jenks Seed Connection have merged to bring the grass seed industry a new worldwide player with strengths in breeding, production, marketing and customer service. The company will market a full line of improved quality turf and forage grasses under the name DLF-JENKS.

Jenks Seed Connection (JENKS) was founded in 1914 as a privately owned wholesale seed house in the Pacific Northwest. JENKS has grown rapidly in the last decade under the leadership of Claus Sass. DLF-TRIFOLIUM USA is a wholly owned subsidiary of DLF-TRIFOLIUM, a grower-owned cooperative based in Denmark, which has been breeding, producing and marketing seeds since the late 1890’s.

DLF-JENKS will be based in Albany, Oregon, have 15 employees and be co-managed by Claus Sass and Kim Rasmussen.

DLF-JENKS is part of the DLF-TRIFOLIUM Group, which produces more than 140 million pounds of grass and clover seed annually. The company is based in Denmark and has subsidiaries in Germany, UK, Scotland, France, Czech Republic, China and Oregon, USA.
