The retained executive search firm
of Kincannon & Reed
continues to add to its team and increase its global
capabilities. A total of 10 recruiters have joined the
organization in the past year.

continue to feel pressure from the economy’s condition, it is
even more crucial to recruit the right executives. Our new
managing directors improve our ability to serve a variety of
clients throughout the world.”
The following Managing Directors have recently joined the firm:
Mike Banks, based in
Melbourne, Australia
Mr. Banks commenced his career as a sales representative
with May & Baker in the UK and then joined Hoechst UK as a
product manager. He later transferred to the company's
headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany, where he held various
internationally focused positions, including global product
management and regional marketing management assignments for
North America. He then accepted a marketing director posting
with Hoechst Australia and maintained this position after
the merger with Schering and the advent of AgrEvo. More
recently, he held senior marketing and sales director
positions for Aventis and Bayer CropScience, respectively.
He is a graduate of London University with a degree in
Chemistry and Biological Sciences.
Jim Longnecker, based in Phoenix, Arizona
Mr. Longnecker brings a broad background in consumer
products manufacturing. Most recently, he led a
manufacturing organization responsible for more than 30
contract manufacturers, which produced food and household
products for the Dial Corporation. Prior to this, Longnecker
held two plant manager positions for the Dial Corporation.
Early in his career, Longnecker was an Operations Research
Analyst for the Bendix Corporation. Directly after college,
he served as a 1st Lieutenant in the US Army. He has an
Industrial Engineering degree from Iowa State University and
an MBA from Western Illinois University.
Paul Miller, based in Phoenix, Arizona
Mr. Miller offers extensive experience in food processing
and distribution in his career as a senior executive and
entrepreneur. As the President/CEO of Upper Crust Bakery,
Miller profitably grew a small commercial bakery into a
national player. Miller’s early career centered on the meat
processing industry, where he was Vice President of
Operations at a $100 million beef company. Earlier, as Vice
President/General Manager of a $70 million beef company, he
managed a processing division that he drove to record volume
and profits. Miller earned an MBA from Harvard Business
School and a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Agricultural
Economics from Cornell and Michigan State, respectively.
