Totally unexpectedly, Pol Peron
(61) passed away on May 4th. He was the passionate and
successful Marketing & Sales manager of our commercial offices
in France and Morocco. His charisma and integrity have been
characteristic for his various professional experiences
throughout his career.
Pol Peron started working for
De Ruiter Seeds in
1992 and was asked to setup our commercial office in France. In
his function as Marketing & Sales manager he was crucial for the
further commercial growth of De Ruiter Seeds in France. In 2000
he started our commercial activities in Morocco and in 2006 he
established the commercial office there.
Pol Peron graduated as horticulturist from the Institut
Supérieur Agricole in Beauvais and he worked in the area of
tomatoes in Senegal in the seventies. Later, he moved back to
France and in 1980 he joined Soproma, a tomato grower in the
Gard that gave him the opportunity to build his professional
network in the French tomato
business. Until he started at De Ruiter Seeds in 1992, Pol Peron
was responsible for the commercial activities of the French
brand Cultilène.
For the short term, Lionel Chazelle, current sales manager will
take responsibility for the commercial activities of Pol Peron
in France; Thomas Sappe will take responsibility in Morocco.
At the De Ruiter Seeds offices in St Andiol (FR), Agadir (MC)
and Bergschenhoek (NL), a memorial room for Pol has been
arranged. Industry relations and colleagues can sign the
condolence register there.
The Remembrance service will be held in Saint Pol de Léon,
Bretagne (FR): Chapelle Saint Pierre, Rue du Port-Place Saint
Pierre. The date has not been confirmed yet.

D'une manière totalement
inattendue, Pol Peron (61 ans) est décédé le 4 mai dernier. Il
était le directeur des ventes et du marketing passionné et très
apprécié de nos bureaux commerciaux en France et au Maroc. Son
charisme et son intégrité constituent la caractéristique des
différents parcours professionnels de sa carrière.
Pol Peron a commencé à travailler en 1992 pour De Ruiter Seeds
où on lui demanda d'organiser le bureau commercial en France.
Dans le cadre de ses fonctions de directeur des ventes et du
marketing, il a joué un rôle essentiel dans le développement de
la croissance commerciale de De Ruiter Seeds en France. En 2000,
il démarra les activités commerciales de la société au Maroc et,
en 2006, il établit, dans ce dernier pays, le bureau commercial
marocain.
Pol Peron était diplômé de l’ISAB de Beauvais. Dans les années
soixante-dix, il travaillait au Sénégal, dans la culture des
tomates. Il retourna ensuite en France où, en 1980, il commença
à travailler pour Soproma, producteur de tomates dans le Gard,
ce qui lui permit de constituer son propre réseau professionnel
pour ce qui
concerne le commerce des tomates en France. Avant son entrée
chez De Ruiter Seeds in 1992, Pol Peron était responsable des
activités commerciales de la marque française Cultilène.
Dans l'immédiat, Lionel Chazelle, présentement directeur des
ventes, assumera la responsabilité des activités commerciales de
Pol Peron en France ; Thomas Sappe celle des activités de Pol
Peron au Maroc.
Aux sièges Seeds de St Andiol (FR), d'Agadir (MC) et de
Bergschenhoek (NL), a été préparée une salle commémorative. Les
relations et collègues pourront y signer le registre de
condoléances
Le service à la mémoire du défunt se tiendra à St. Pol de Léon,
Bretagne (FR): Chapelle Saint Pierre, Rue du Port-Place Saint
Pierre. La date n’est pas encore confirmée. |
