Starting today,
PROTEIOS International BV
is offering the Heubach test to determine free floating dust
particles from film coated seeds.
This spring several EU countries, require certain dust-off
criteria for seeds treated with certain plant protection
products and used within their borders. This means that the
seeds have to be coated with very effective and high quality
film coat formulations, such as the film coat liquids from
INCOTEC. In a number of countries seed lot batches of corn have
to be tested after treatment using the Heubach abrasion method
or, as in France, according to the Ceres method.
The Heubach test is a critical analytical test and is extremely
reliable. In order to obtain representative and reliable test
results constant lab conditions are required. At Proteios’s high
