Renze Seeds, a seed
affiliate of Dow
AgroSciences, has announced it is moving its office to a new
location in Templeton, Iowa, on June 8. The move is a result of
increasing business at Renze Seeds and growing demand for its
products.
The new office, located at 124 S. Main St. in Templeton, will
house the Renze management, agronomy, and administrative staff
who support the expanding sales team and customer base. Renze
Seeds’ sales territory is currently focused in Iowa and Nebraska
and even extends into Minnesota, South Dakota, Colorado, Kansas,
and Missouri. The office phone number will remain the same.
“The commercial launch of several new products will be key to
our expected growth,” said Craig Williams, general manager for
Renze Seeds. “The anticipated launches of SmartStax™ corn
hybrids in 2010, Dow AgroSciences Herbicide Tolerance (DHT) corn
in 2012, and DHT soybeans in 2013 will also drive increased
demand for Renze Seeds products.”
Soybean seed production has also increased in 2009 for 2010
sales and includes a mixture of Roundup Ready 2 Yield™ and
Roundup Ready® soybeans. “This increase is good news for local
growers who receive substantial premiums for growing high
quality Renze seed,” added Williams. “The Renze Seeds soybean
facility was designed with the future in mind and can handle
several times the current production levels.”
The present rural Carroll, Iowa, offices will continue to be the
headquarters for RenPro, Inc. which provides corn production and
warehousing for Renze Seeds. The soybean production and
warehousing team will also continue to occupy its current
location.
