Wyffels Hybrids recently announced new district sales
managers in central Illinois and northwest Iowa. Tom King of
LeRoy, Ill., will oversee De Witt and Macon counties in Illinois
and Jason Smith of Sioux Rapids, Iowa, will be responsible for
the Iowa counties of Buena Vista, Calhoun, Cherokee, Pocahontas
and Sac.
King, who comes from a farming background, is a customer care
specialist skilled in ensuring positive buying experiences.
Prior to joining Wyffels, King was a sales representative at SMC
Corporation of America and a professional recruiter at AeroTek.
King received a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois
University.
Smith joins Wyffels Hybrids with broad experience in the
agriculture industry. He most recently served as a farm/field
service underwriter for Farm Bureau Financial Services. He has
also been actively involved with the family farming and seed
business operations in Marathon, Iowa. Smith received a
bachelor’s degree in agriculture studies from Iowa State
University.
