Warren Libby, a 35-year veteran of
the crop protection industry, has joined
AgriCapital’s Advisory
Board. Mr. Libby will assist with AgriCapital’s activities in
Canada.
Mr. Libby has broad experience in both Europe and Canada, and
held various senior positions including President of Syngenta
Crop Protection Canada. He played a lead role in several mergers
and acquisitions including the merger of Ciba-Geigy Canada and
Sandoz to form Novartis Crop Protection Canada, and the merger
of Novartis Canada and Zeneca to form Syngenta Crop Protection
Canada. From 2001 to 2003, Mr. Libby helped Engage Agro grow to
become Canada’s leading supplier to the specialty crop segment.
