Recently Vilmorin, Clause Tézier
and Nickerson, all being a group company of the stock-listed
Limagrain Groupe have decided to purchase the new ABS Production
Module as its primary solution for its seed production.
The companies were looking for a more detailed registration of
their seed production information and a more efficient way of
entering the data in the fields using handheld devices.
The technical solution is that the ABS Production Module will be
interfaced with the corporate ERP software for up- and
downloading of the required information regarding the crop
follow up. All the detailed information of the crops in ground
will be registered en monitored by the ABS production module. It
is the next logical step to remain the successful company in the
seed sector controlling the quality, timely deliveries and
inventories of their varieties.
Vilmorin has more than 250 years of experience in agronomical
research and activities. Today the company focuses on selection,
production and distribution of vegetable and tree seeds for the
professionals.
Clause Tézier is specialized in the breeding, production and
commercialization of vegetable seeds for professionals.
Nickerson-Zwaan is a breeding, production and processing that is
marketing and sells its highly qualified vegetable seeds in the
Benelux.
HAPit BV is the world's leading provider of ERP software
solutions for the flower, field and vegetable seeds sector. For
10 years HAPit develops and sells the Agro Business System (ABS)
and has implementations around the world. Q-Seed is an ERP
system specially developed to serve the agricultural branch. The
customers of both applications will be served from HAPits main
office in Grootebroek, The Netherlands.
