Syngenta Seeds, Inc., one of the
world’s leading agricultural seed providers, will soon offer the
industry’s first and only fully integrated aphid management
system to protect soybean crops from yield-robbing aphid
infestations.
Available in the United States for planting in 2010, the
Syngenta aphid management system leverages a native gene for
resistance along with the early season disease and insect
control benefits of novel seed treatment products from Syngenta
providing growers complete protection from aphid infestations.
In addition, the advanced Syngenta foliar-applied insecticide
portfolio is a component of the system if needed, providing
additional protection under heavy late season infestations
during critical stages to guard yield.
“Syngenta is committed to delivering elite genetics and
agronomic packages that help soybean growers optimize soybean
performance and reach new levels of yield now,” said Steve
Knodle, NK Soybean Marketing Manager for Syngenta Seeds.
“Utilizing multiple modes of action and integrated pest
management practices will give soybean growers peace of mind all
season long.”
