Indiana Crop Improvement Association and Indiana Seed Trade Association to hold joint annual meeting in 2010

.

Lafayette, Indiana
February 26, 2009

The Indiana Crop Improvement Association (ICIA) and the Indiana Seed Trade Association (ISTA) announced recently plans to hold a joint annual meeting in 2010.

Historically these meetings have been held separately with the ICIA Annual Conference in February and the ISTA Corn Belt Seed Conference in November. While both meetings maintained excellent educational programs and strong attendance, it was decided pooling resources for a joint conference would provide an opportunity to raise the bar even higher with additional cutting edge speakers, more commercial exhibitors and increased attendance.

The new, joint meeting will be known as the Corn Belt Seed Conference.

The 2010 conference is scheduled for February 10-12 at the Sheraton Keystone Hotel in Indianapolis - the site of many prior ICIA annual meetings. For the 2010 meeting, the hotel will provide all suites for attendees instead of regular rooms, for the same low $111.00 per night charge.

The new Corn Belt Seed Conference will have a similar "look and feel" as past ICIA or ISTA conferences, with general sessions, breakout meetings, social hours, exhibitors, planned meals, and time for networking.

With ICIA & ISTA joining forces, be assured the new Corn Belt Seed Conference will be a world class meeting. Mark your calendar now and stay tuned for details as plans move forward.
