Dow AgroSciences LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Dow
Chemical Company, and the
China National
Rice Research Institute (CNRRI) of Hangzhou, China,
announced today that they have entered into a research agreement
to combine the strengths of Dow AgroSciences’ platform of traits
and technologies with CNRRI’s leading rice germplasm.

technologies in rice in China and the rest of the world to
improve the productivity of one of the world’s most important
food crops and to help address the needs of our growing global

China National Rice Research Institute (CNRRI) is an
integrative research institute of basic rice science in China.

leadership of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS)
and the Zhejiang Provincial Government.
