Wyffels
Hybrids announced today that Jeff Hartz has assumed the
position of director of marketing and will oversee all strategic
marketing and public relations efforts on behalf of the seed
corn company. Hartz was selected by the executive and senior
management teams at Wyffels following an extensive national
search.
In his new position, Hartz will be responsible for the continued
development of the Wyffels brand and related marketing and
communications strategies. He will working closely with growers,
Seed Representatives and the field sales force to develop
programs and materials that meet their needs and reinforce
Wyffels' position as one of the leading independent seed corn
companies in the industry.

presence, create awareness and build loyalty through exceptional

Hartz comes to Wyffels Hybids with more than 15 years of
marketing and communication experience. Most recently, he served
as a division manager in market development for John Deere
Credit. He also helped reposition “The Other White Meat”
campaign while serving as director of marketing communications
and brand strategy for the National Pork Board. In addition,
Hartz has extensive agency experience serving in senior creative
positions for several advertising and marketing companies. Hartz
received a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass
communication from The University
of Iowa.
