Syngenta Seeds, NK Brand is pleased to announce new
appointments and internal restructuring that includes a new
dealer-focused Customer Care team, Commercial Operations Manager
and Demand Analyst as part of the expanded marketing team. These
changes are part of a two-year strategy that is designed to
bring further efficiency and effectiveness to the Syngenta Seeds
supply chain.
“At Syngenta Seeds we are committed to delivering the right
product at the right time,” says Ron Taylor, Marketing Manager
for Syngenta Seeds Canada. “We are implementing a new strategy
to ensure that as demand increases we continue to fulfil this
mandate. The new appointments and Customer Care team are a key
component of this strategy, and we are confident these new
positions and new team members will serve our dealers and
customers well.”
The new dealer-focused Customer Care team is responsible for the
orders, returns and the timely delivery of all corn, soybeans,
inoculants and forage products. The team members include Manon
Tanguay, who is responsible for Quebec and the Ottawa Valley,
Debbie Galos who is responsible for Central Ontario and Danielle
Kinnaird who will assume responsibility for Southwestern
Ontario. The team will provide dealers with a direct line of
communication and ensure that product needs are met.
The Syngenta Seeds plant in Cottam, Ontario welcomes Keith
Brimner, a former field sales manager, as the new Commercial
Operations Manager. In this role, Keith will be responsible for
managing all aspects of demand planning, allocation and order
management of the complete Syngenta Seeds portfolio.
To further support the strategy, a new Demand Analyst position
has been created. Kristen Tellier will provide further support
to the Commercial Operations Department and will encourage
two-way communications between the Field Force and the Supply
Chain. Kristen has been a Customer Service Representative with
Syngenta Seeds, NK Brand for over 10 years.
Syngenta Seeds is also delighted to announce Glen Hellerman as
the new Plant Manager at Cottam. Glen has 25 years of management
experience in the Canadian agri-industry. He brings an extensive
knowledge of local Canadian agriculture as well as relationships
with some of Canada’s most prominent agricultural leaders and
innovators. Glen is also the Chairman of the Canadian Seed Trade
Association Corn Committee and the Seed
Corn Companies Association.
Specifically for the supply management and quality assurance of
soybeans and forage seed, Ron Bossy, who has been with the
company for over 18 years, will now take the role of Outsourcing
Production Manager. Ron will be working with two new members of
the Syngenta Seeds, NK Brand team: Eliza Plaziuk (Administrative
Assistant), and Kimberley Balkwill (Inventory/Distribution
Supervisor in the Soybean Division). Kimberly is responsible for
meeting monthly shipping goals, performing physical inventory
counts and hiring and supervising seasonal dispatch staff.
All the above positions are part of the strategic effort to
ensure a healthy supply chain so that dealer and customer needs
continue to be met while demand grows. “Effective communication,
proper planning, delivery of the highest quality product and
efficiency are key in a supply chain such as ours,” explains
David Sippell, President of Syngenta Seeds Canada. “Our team
will ensure that all of these components are upheld so that our
dealers and customers get the Syngenta seeds they need, when
they need them. We are excited to roll out this important step
in our supply chain strategy.”
