Fontanelle, Nebraska
March 10, 2008
Fontanelle Hybrids
launches a new company website at
www.fontanelle.com.
“We recognized that growers need fast, easy access to
information,” said Steve Pike, president. “The new website is
focused on providing that in a way that shows the uniqueness of
Fontanelle by also showcasing our people on the site.”
Now product information and local contact information is
available with one click of the mouse. “Visitors to our site
have told us that two of the primary reasons for the visit is to
look up detailed product information or find a Fontanelle
representative in their area,” Pike said. “Now both avenues are
available right from the home page. We’ve also developed an area
on the home page that will take visitors directly to time
sensitive information that our customers need to know about
throughout the year.”
Additional features include product searches that will allow
growers to tailor requests for the information they are
interested in with the option of downloading and printing full
technical specifications for individual products; downloads of
marketing materials; and an online application form for open job
positions. “We also have an entire segment of the site devoted
to our customers’ comments. This area really shows Fontanelle’s
way of doing business and why growers do business with us,” Pike
said. “It’s amazing to read through a selection of these
comments to see how many of them focus on individual team
members who have made a difference for a grower. We know we have
a strong team so now it’s great to be able to share that with
everyone through the words of our customers.”
This is just Phase I of the new website. “We will continue to
add new features to the site keeping in mind how those features
will benefit our customers,” Pike said. “For instance one area
that we are working on will include agronomy information.
Another area will be to relaunch our popular Results Over Night
for searchable and printable harvest results. This is just the
beginning of the good things coming by using our website to
communicate to our grower audience.”
Fontanelle Hybrids markets corn, soybeans, grain sorghum,
alfalfa and sunflowers in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Colorado,
Missouri and portions of Illinois, Minnesota, South Dakota and
Texas as an independent operating company within American Seeds
Inc, a holding company of Monsanto. |
