Fontanelle, Nebraska
July 9, 2008
“We are pleased to announce the
addition of Andy Bowen as a District Sales Manager to the
Fontanelle Hybrids sales
team,” Steve Pike, Fontanelle president, Fontanelle, Nebraska
said. “Andy worked with us as a college intern last summer and
due to his commitment to customer service during that time, we
kept in touch with him as he completed his degree. Once he
graduated from Northwest Missouri State in May he agreed to join
the Fontanelle team.”
“I enjoyed my time as an intern last summer,” Bowen said.
“Because of the types of activities I was able to participate
in, which included calling on customers, I realized that seed
sales would be a good fit for me. I was impressed with
Fontanelle’s team of employees throughout the organization so I
was excited to be able to join this group. My goal is to provide
great customer service to Fontanelle customers. And that along
with our access to one of the largest gene pools in the world
with Monsanto genetics, I believe will help ensure that every
customer who plants Fontanelle products will have a good
experience.”
Bowen is now located in Wayne, NE with a territory covering
several counties in northeast Nebraska.
Fontanelle Hybrids markets corn, soybeans, grain sorghum,
alfalfa and sunflowers in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Colorado,
Missouri and portions of Illinois, Minnesota, South Dakota and
Texas as an independent operating company within American Seeds
Inc, a holding company of Monsanto. |
