The International Seed Testing Association (ISTA) announces
that the deadline for Registration and Abstracts for the 6th
ISTA SEED HEALTH SYMPOSIUM in Berg en Dal Camp, Kruger National
Park, South Africa from 14-18 April 2008 has been extended to
February 29, 2008.

There will also be a ISTA Seed Health WORKSHOP covering various
methods used to detect bacteria (Dr Mortensen, Denmark), fungi
(Prof Blanco, Spain and Prof Tylowska, Poland), nematodes (Ms
Remeeus, Netherlands) and viruses (Dr Mumford, United Kingdom).
This Workshop will be held from 7-11 April 2008 at the
University of Pretoria, Pretoria, South Africa in the week
before the Symposium. The number of delegates will be limited to
20. Cost of the Workshop will be about EUR 337 (USD 496) for
ISTA Members and EUR 500 (USD 737) for non-members.
Short tours to Victoria falls etc. at the weekend between the
Workshop and the Symposium are now available. You find a
