Proceedings from the third
National Soybean Rust Symposium are now posted on the
Plant Management
Network's publicly available Soybean Rust Information Center
at:
www.plantmanagementnetwork.org/infocenter/topic/soybeanrust/2007.
Organized by The American
Phytopathological Society (APS), the symposium was held December
12-14 in Louisville, KY. A diverse audience of more than 250
attendees participated in the event that was coordinated by
Raymond Schneider, Louisiana State University, and a technical
program planning committee. In addition to opportunities to
network and explore new areas of investigation, participants
appreciated and actively engaged in important presentations,
posters, and discussions.
The organizers thank the sponsors, symposium attendees,
presenters, and organizers for making the 2007 symposium a
success.
APS is a non-profit, professional scientific organization.
The research of the organization’s 5,000 worldwide members
advances the understanding of the science of plant pathology and
its application to plant health.
