is with great sadness that we have to inform you that the
founder of our company, Mr. IJs van Dok, passed away last
Tuesday.
In June 2006 a severe disease was diagnosed and after a long
period of treatments, in which IJs and his family were being
poised between hope and fear, finally this disease appeared to
be fatal.
For a period of 35 years IJs has been General Manager of our
company and in this period the company has specialized in
designing and manufacturing equipment for the Seed Industry.
During this period Seed Processing Holland became a world-wide
highly reputable firm.
In the starting period IJs focused on technics, but in the early
90s he started to focus more on sales. Especially by his way to
approach the market and how to associate with relations our
company developed to the company we are today.
Early 2002 IJs carried over the company to the Management Team
and he started to enjoy his retirement. The last years IJs was
still closely involved in the company, so the news of his
decease was a great shock for all of us.
At this moment our thoughts are especially with his wife Tiny,
his son Willem and daughter-in-law Mariëlle, whom have to
continue without IJs. We wish them courage and strength for the
future.
Also we will miss IJs, but we will never forget him.
