Workshop on harmonised reference
systems
Conclusion document available
A task force for the harmonisation of reference systems used in
GMO detection has been established during a workshop on the 23rd
of January in Brussels. This initiative was taken by Co-Extra
partners, the Joint Research Centre (JRC), EuropaBio, The
International Seed Testing Association (ISTA) and public
laboratories.
This workshop also was aimed at opening discussion of relevant
taxon identification issues in GMO quantification with
specialists from the fields of taxonomy, phylogeny and breeding.
The document summarising the conclusion of the workshop now is
publicly available.
