February 25, 2008

Pride Seeds has announced the launch of a new blog site, www.fieldtalk.ca that provides timely information on agronomy questions, industry trends and the fit for new technologies on the farm. “The launch of fieldtalk.ca provides producers with not only a new source of information on timely crop issues, technology and agronomy trends, but also insight and perspective on decisions that have to be made on the farm every year and in every growing season,” notes Stephen Denys, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Pride Seeds.

“There are lots of information sources on the web today, but drilling down to the key facts that are needed in decision making is an important part of the information distillation process. We feel this site will help provide that perspective, adds” Denys. Pride is also seeking input from readers through their comments which is an available feature on the site.

Key contributors to the site will include Fred Sinclair, CCA and Product Development and Agronomy Manager, Jon Klapwyk, CCA and Market Development Agronomist, Doug Alderman, CCA and National Sales Manager for Pride Seeds along with Denys. “The site will be a useful tool especially in-season when we will be posting field pictures and videos of issues being encountered in the field that many producers will be able to relate to.”
