Americot, Inc. is pleased to announce that Gary Sanders has
joined Americot as Sales Representative for Southwest Sales. In
his new role, Sanders is responsible for a territory ranging
from Highway 114 west of Lubbock into eastern New Mexico and up
to Interstate 40 and west of Interstate 27.
According to Americot® general manager Terry Campbell, Sanders
will enhance the company's presence in the Southwest. Campbell
says, “We're excited about having Sanders join our team. He is
reputable and respected in the Southwest cotton seed industry,
and has an outstanding name with the area's cotton growers that
he has established after nearly three decades of service."
Sanders previously worked at Estes, Inc. as the seed manager.
Before that, he worked for Asgrow/Monsanto, Triumph Seed and
Pioneer Hybrid. Sanders says, “I am thrilled to join the
Americot team and working with growers with our Americot brand
and NexGen brand cottons. NexGen has developed into a
well-respected brand for Southwest cotton growers. It has a
strong presence in my territory and will be stronger in years to
come."
Sanders grew up on a family farm in Floyd County, Texas where he
hoed and chopped cotton alongside his father and older brother.
In high school, he worked at a farm supply store and at a co-op
that had a grain elevator and a cotton gin. He continued working
at the co-op and on the family farm while he pursued his general
ag degree at West Texas A & M.
He and his wife, Jeni, have been married for 31 years and have
one son and one daughter. They now live in Shallowater, Texas.
