Kiwa Bio-Tech Products
Group Corporation’s CEO and Board Chairman, Mr. Wei Li, met
to discuss cooperative ventures with members of the Canadian
Agricultural Ministry and Natunola Health, Inc. of Ottawa
(Toronto Venture Exchange Symbol: SXS).
Among the participants in the meetings with Mr. Li was Dr.
Jianqiang Zhou who is the Chief Officer of Scientific Relations
China, International Science Cooperation Bureau of Canadian
Agricultural Ministry. During the session, Dr. Zhou introduced
three main areas for cooperative development:
- advanced technology for
growing oats,
- a breeding program for
promising potatoes,
- soil nutrient measurement
and development of formulas and fertilization technology
transferring experience from research being conducted for
Kiwa at China Agricultural University.
Mr. Zhou looks to Kiwa to bring a
commercial operation focus for the above three projects in order
to effectively utilize available governmental capital and
support. Based on the successful government directed
communication between these two countries, project
implementation needs experienced commercial business companies
with demonstrated strengths to join together.
Mr. Li also met with Dr. Nam Fong Han, President and CEO, of
Canadian listed company, Natunola Health, Inc. (Toronto Venture
Exchange Symbol: SXS) in Ottawa, to discuss working together
through Canada-China Agri-Technology cooperation arrangements
including possible commercial cooperation between Natunola and
Kiwa in near future. Natunola Health Inc. specializes in
developing products derived from natural sources primarily for
human health, personal care and animal nutritional market.
Natunola Health Inc. helps the commercialization of one of
Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) patented technologies,
omega-3 flaxseed dehulling technology, and has an excellent
working relationship with AAFC.
Mr. Wei Li, Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Company, stated
