RFD-TV is broadcasting live at the
2008 Farm Progress Show on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 26-27,
from the Bayer
CropScience tent, No. 1126. The show begins at noon each
day, and growers are welcome to participate on-site, or watch
live on television.
The RFD-TV show is available to watch via Comcast, Verizon Fios,
Charter, Suddenlink, Mediacom, Bresnan, Dish Network, DirecTV
and many independent cable companies.
The Tuesday, August 26, television show features a panel of corn
and soybean growers, seed breeders and weed consultants who will
share their experiences with and recommendations for use of new
LibertyLink® soybeans and Ignite® herbicide.
The panel will include: Myron Stine, Stine Seed Company; Larry
Jacobson, Iowa corn and soybean grower; Aaron Collins, Precision
Soya; Ford Baldwin, Weed Consultants; Andy Hurst, Bayer
CropScience seed traits and Ignite herbicide product manager.
On Wednesday, August 27, RFD-TV will focus on the new selective
herbicides from Bayer CropScience, including new Laudis™
herbicide and upcoming Corvus™ and Balance®Flexx herbicides.
Panelists will include: Dick Kehrt, Iowa crop consultant; Rich
Gassman, Iowa corn/soybean grower; Mike Owen, Iowa State
University weed scientist; Bill Johnson, Purdue University weed
scientist and Jeff Springsteen, Bayer CropScience marketing
manager for corn herbicides.
Balance®Flexx and Corvus™ are not
registered for use and are currently under review by the EPA.
