Ariadne today
announced that Bayer
CropScience AG has licensed its Pathway Studio platform with
the ResNet® Plant database to supplement their plant stress
reactions research. In particular, the company will use Pathway
Studio for gene expression analysis of Plant and Fungi data.
“Pathway Studio comes with the MedScan® information extraction
module, which helps to customize Ariadne’s standard databases
(ResNet Mammalian and ResNet Plant) or create new databases for
particular research topics or species,” said John Clouston,
Senior Director of Sales at Ariadne. “This capability is exactly
why international companies see benefit in Pathway Studio for
research activities such as compound safety studies and gene
expression analysis of non-mammalian organisms”.
In addition to Ariadne’s ResNet Plant database, Bayer
CropScience licensed Metabolic Vision, a bacterial and fungal
pathway database by Integrated Genomics distributed by Ariadne
and compatible with Pathway Studio.
For more information about Ariadne Pathway Studio, ResNet Plant
and MedScan, please contact Ariadne at 240-453-6296 or

ARIADNE Pathway Studio software is used worldwide as a
comprehensive solution for analysis and searching of pathways
and molecular interaction information. Ariadne offers desktop
and enterprise editions of Pathway Studio which are supported by
several commercial and publicly available molecular interaction
databases including ResNet Mammalian, ResNet Plant, and Prolexys
HyNet. Pathway Studio is powered by MedScan Technology, which
researchers can use to edit and enhance database content from
the current literature and from experimental data.
