Pride Seeds has announced the launch of the PRIDE FX Soybean System for Canadian soybean producers. “The PRIDE FX Soybean System combines the best in Pride soybean genetics with elite seed treatments and new third generation HiStick N/T soybean inoculant technology,” notes Stephen Denys, Vice President of Sales and Marketing with Pride Seeds. “When taken together, the addition of premier genetics with industry leading treatment technologies provides the potential for much higher yields – and with reduced production risk,” says Denys. He notes that over the last few years producers have commented that soybean yields have stalled given an increasing number of management challenges in the field. “The launch of the PRIDE FX Soybean System will address a great many of the needs of soybean producers today.”

“We have launched several new soybean varieties over the last year,” adds Fred Sinclair, Manager for Product Development and Agronomy with Pride Seeds. “Combining these genetics with CruiserMaxx® Beans for disease control, soil borne insect and early season bean leaf beetle and aphid protection, or ApronMaxx® for disease protection alone, provides the best start a soybean crop can have. We have seen the evidence first hand in the field this year and in many high pressure situations the advantage to these products is very obvious. Add to this new HiStick® N/T which represents a third generation Biostacked® inoculant that stimulates greater nodule biomass and faster canopy closure even on mature soybean ground and you have a complete package for soybean yield success.”

Sinclair says HiStick N/T represents a major breakthrough in inoculant technology that offers benefits to all soybean producers even in Southwestern Ontario. “Increased biomass and faster canopy closure is a benefit that can be seen in all areas and can benefit producers right across Canada.”
