Innovotech files with Health Canada for novel seed treatment product

.

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
October 29, 2007

Innovotech Inc. (TSX VENTURE:IOT) has filed for regulatory approval with the Pest Management Regulatory Agency of Health Canada for AgressTM, its novel seed treatment for diseases of soy and bean crops. "AgressTM is a breakthrough seed treatment as it is the only product effective against both fungal and bacterial crop diseases. In addition, it has an outstanding environmental safety profile and is cost-competitive with current products" says Wolfgang Muhs, CEO of Innovotech.

Application to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will follow shortly.

Soy and bean crops alone represent greater than $500 million in sales potential annually for AgressTM in North and South America. The company has initial research results indicating the efficacy of AgressTM in treating other high value agricultural crops and is currently pursuing these opportunities in parallel with this regulatory filing.

The company's expertise is microbial biofilms, the most common and most difficult to treat form of microorganisms. The company uses its patented technology to develop products and services for clients in human health, agriculture and industry.
