Fontanelle, Nebraska
October 23, 2007

“We are pleased to announce that Tracy Beran has joined our Fontanelle Hybrids team in the new position of Manager of Production Services,” Steve Pike, president said.

“One of the foundations of Fontanelle has always been great customer service. And now with the growth the Company has seen over the last couple of years, we saw the need to expand our production management so we can keep our personal style of doing business with customers and improve our customer service overall. This new position with Tracy as the manager allows us to do that.”

“I saw this position with Fontanelle as a chance to grow and have more of a challenge,” Beran said. His position includes inventory, overseeing quality and shipping and acting as a liason between Fontanelle and their production company, Nebraksa Irrigated Seeds, Inc. Beran will work out of the Fontanelle office as well as the Fremont, Nebraska production plant.

“With Tracy’s 18 years of experience in positions ranging from bagging to grading and treating to acting as a district supervisor during detasseling, we know he can continue our commitment to a high level of customer service,” Pike said.

Fontanelle Hybrids markets corn, soybeans, grain sorghum, alfalfa and sunflowers in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Colorado, Missouri and portions of Illinois, Minnesota, South Dakota and Texas as an independent operating company within American Seeds Inc, a holding company of Monsanto.
