In collaboration with its Regional
Office for Europe and Central Asia,
the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) has
now launched the Russian version of its Biotechnology website,
which includes a wide range of features such as:
- an overview of FAO's
activities in the field of biotechnology,
- updated news and event
items,
- the FAO Biotechnology
Glossary,
- an e-mail forum that has
hosted 14 moderated conferences since 2001,
- links to national
biotechnology policy documents of FAO Members, and
- an on-line documents
section.
