Seedway hires Product and Market Development Manager

Berry Tanner has joined Seedway as Vegetable Product and Market Development Manager, based at the company’s Lakeland, Florida location.

Tanner will manage Seedway’s product development program in the Southeast U.S., coordinating efforts with breeder-producers to test and identify superior varieties for introduction into the Seedway product line. Additionally, Tanner will support Seedway salespeople and customers with technical information and cultural recommendations, along with the identification and development of new markets.

Berry earned a Masters degree in Plant Protection and Pest Management from the University of Georgia and brings with him 20 years of agricultural experience, including 15 years working with and coordinating research trails at the Universities of Georgia and Florida. His experience makes him uniquely qualified to lead the program and serve Seedway customers throughout the Southeast.

Seedway markets one of the most complete vegetable seed product lines in the industry, with a seed and service team comprised of 20 in-the-field professionals covering the United States east of the Rocky Mountains and Ontario, Canada. Seedway, LLC is a subsidiary of GROWMARK, Inc., Bloomington, Illinois.
