“We are pleased to announce the
addition of three new District Sales Managers to the
Fontanelle Hybrids sales
team,” Steve Pike, president said. “These three team members
bring a great deal of experience and a solid knowledge of the
seed business to our Fontanelle customers.”
Kirk Barr, Mapleton, Iowa has 25 years of seed experience
in the west central Iowa area he is now covering for Fontanelle.
“After leaving the seed business for a short time last spring, I
discovered that it’s where I belong,” Barr said. “It was
great timing for Fontanelle because we had talked to Kirk in the
past about joining us and this time when we approached him, it
worked out,” Pike said. Barr says he’s set high goals for his
new area and is looking forward to working with the existing
dealer sales force, as well as expanding that team with new
dealers.
Brett Burenheide, Firth, Nebraska brings nine years of
experience is the sales agronomy side of the business. He is
covering a portion of south central Nebraska. “Fontanelle is on
the cutting edge for new products in the seed industry,”
Burenheide said. “That along with good company leadership and
the fact that the Fontanelle name has been around forever in the
state of Nebraska means that I can approach the most progressive
farmers about using our products.”
Scott Hitzemann, Washington, Iowa is establishing a new
territory for Fontanelle in southeast Iowa. “My main goal for my
territory is to get the Fontanelle name recognized,” Hitzemann
said. “Fontanelle has some of the best products available on the
market today and growers in this area need to realize this. My
ultimate goal is to have people see my truck and say ‘there goes
that Fontanelle rep. Boy that corn was great last year!’”
Hitzemann brings several years of experience in chemical sales
with him to the Fontanelle team.
