Shandong Zhouyuan Seed
and Nursery Co., Ltd. (OTC Bulletin Board: SZSN) ('SZSN' or
'Parent Corporation'), which is incorporated in the State of
Delaware, stated that its subsidiary operating company in China,
Shandong Zhouyuan Seed and Nursery Co., Ltd. ('Zhouyuan' or 'the
Company'), will continue to grow and evolve at a rapid pace with
its research and network advantages. It plans to educate the
farmers in proper seed usage and modern agricultural techniques,
and to supply high quality seed to maximize yields in the
future.
Since restructuring from a state-owned company into a
privately-owned shareholding company, Zhouyuan has been
developing and working on strengthening new products and sales
networks, which includes deepening R&D in new technology on
hybrid seed breeding and marketing. Now, the Company has placed
various advantages in the market into four categories:
Leading in research and technology platforms in China, the
Company will continue to be a leader in the research and
development of new products with the cooperation of
Groupe Limagrain, the
largest seed corporation in Europe and the forth biggest in the
world. With the assistance of Group Limagrain, SZSN will target
the specific needs of the Chinese farming base.
During the last four years, a total of 6 series of products from
Zhouyuan were authenticated by the Chinese government and the
Company received the entrance permission for over 10 provinces
in China. It will help the Company's growth with rapid pace.
The existing 417 regional agencies of the Company have a
concentration of markets in more than 24 provinces in China. Its
seeds are currently produced by three independent seed growers
and one municipality consisting of seven towns. These four
sources dedicate 1400 to 1750 acres of farmland to grow seeds
from Zhouyuan. Its
business plan anticipates that it will develop its own
production capability on 4,250 acres.
Besides all this, SZSN will leverage its strong provincial and
central government relationships, academic relationships, and
national sales and distribution network to create leading value
propositions for the farmers. This includes educating the farmer
in proper seed usage and modern agricultural techniques, and
supplying high-quality seed to maximize the yields.
