Bayer CropScience unveils 2007 Growing Strong Rewards Program - Participating U.S. corn growers can treat up to 6.5 percent of their acres for free
Research Triangle Park, North Carolina
January 10, 2007

For 2007, corn growers have the opportunity to treat up to 6.5 percent of their corn acres for free with Bayer CropScience products, when they participate in the Growing Strong™ Rewards Program.

To qualify for the program, growers simply start with 250 acres of Liberty®, Balance®Pro or Radius® herbicides. In addition, grower purchases must exceed $5,000 worth of the qualifying products, which include: Liberty, Radius, Balance Pro, Autumn,™ Buctril,® Buctril + atrazine, Define™ SC, Define DF, Equip™, and Option® herbicides, Stratego® fungicide or Baythroid® XL and Aztec® 2.1 insecticides.

In return, participating growers earn credit on their purchases, up to 6.5 percent, with the agricultural retailer of their choice (maximum of two locations), explains Tim Zurliene, Bayer CropScience business unit manager for herbicides and fungicides.

“Once growers meet the minimum requirements, they then earn dollars on every additional purchase, which will be credited to their account with their retailer,” Zurliene says. “Growers can then spend these dollars at their selected retail location.”

Growers have until May 1, 2007, to enroll in the Growing Strong Rewards Program. Invoices submitted by October 31, 2007, will receive credit at their chosen retail locations by December 15, 2007.

Growers can enroll now at www.BayerGrowingStrong.com or, they can call 877-976-8286.
