Aarhus, Denmark
January 3, 2007
At the turn of the year, the
Danish Institute of Agricultural Sciences will be merged with
the
University of Aarhus.
This also includes the National
Environmental Research Institute and the Aarhus School of
Business. This will strengthen the university, not least in the
area of agriculture and the environment.
The Danish Institute of
Agricultural Sciences will become a faculty at the new
University of Aarhus, changing its name to the Faculty of
Agricultural Sciences in the process.
The present director of the Danish
Institute of Agricultural sciences, Just Jensen, will be Dean of
the new faculty. |
