Danish Institute of Agricultural Sciences becomes part of the University of Aarhus

At the turn of the year, the Danish Institute of Agricultural Sciences will be merged with the University of Aarhus.

This also includes the National Environmental Research Institute and the Aarhus School of Business. This will strengthen the university, not least in the area of agriculture and the environment.

The Danish Institute of Agricultural Sciences will become a faculty at the new University of Aarhus, changing its name to the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences in the process.

The present director of the Danish Institute of Agricultural sciences, Just Jensen, will be Dean of the new faculty.
